You can view projects currently advertised for bid, as well as bid results and awards, at IU Plan Room.
We use e-Builder—a construction project management system—to track projects managed by IU Capital Projects.
Consultants and contractors will be given access to individual projects within e-Builder by the appropriate IU project manager.
Relevant floor plans for IU projects will be stored in e-Builder for secure download by request. Contact the IU project manager assigned to your project to request having additional floor plans added to e-Builder.
CAD drawings are not released by the Office of the Vice President for Capital Planning and Facilities. Special requests can be made in writing to the Office of Space Planning (Karen Buckrop and Janelle Reeves) if special consideration is desired.
e-Builder users can access front-end documents for construction and furniture via the zIUResources-BL project.
Procurement front-end document templates (bid form, general conditions, etc.) may be requested by emailing bidtab@iu.edu.
If you do not use e-Builder, you may request front-end documentation by emailing bidtab@iu.edu and including the IU project number and project title in the message.
Project document templates (e.g., CCD log, RFI, PCO log) are available through e-Builder in the zIUResources-BL project.
Each building at IU is assigned a unique building code.
Interactive and downloadable maps are available for each IU campus. You can also request a site/utility map for an IU project.
Requests for sample contracts (architect, engineer, consultant, or construction) may be emailed to bidtab@iu.edu.

Contractors must visit the Operations Center in person at the Service Building (2901 East Discovery Parkway in Bloomington) to fill out a Key Check Out request for the Bloomington campus. Permission must be granted by the IU project manager to receive a key. Contractors must have the IU project name, IU project number, and IU project manager's (IU Capital Projects, Construction Management, Engineering, Facility Operations staff) contact information to fill out the form.
