Jayd Grossman serves as the Director of Business Analytics for Capital Planning and Facilities (CPF) at Indiana University. Since joining the unit in 2017, he has overseen the development of enterprise-level reporting and data analysis that supports strategic business decision-making that impacts all Indiana University campuses. His work encompasses analyses across a broad range of critical unit functions, including space utilization, energy and utilities, finance, human resources, capital projects, and facility operations. In synthesizing disparate data sources and complex datasets into actionable insights, Jayd oversees the data-driven foundation for CPF’s long-term business planning and operational strategy.

Prior to his leadership role in CPF, Jayd spent nine years within the IU Athletics Department as the Assistant Athletic Director of Men’s Basketball Administration. In this capacity, he managed the daily business operations of one of the nation’s most storied basketball programs. Previously, Jayd served as the Director of Sports Medicine at Marquette University and as an Athletic Trainer at the University of Cincinnati and with the New Orleans Saints of the NFL.

Jayd earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin–Lacrosse, a Master of Education in Sports Medicine from the University of Virginia, and a Master of Science in Business Analytics from the IU Kelley School of Business.
